The band was born from the core of Wilmington's #1 party band, The 360 Degrees. The music and unmistakable chemistry of the band brings a unique feel to all of the music, which in turn brings a fresh, new style to the area's music scene!

Danica Fletcher is a singer/songwriter originally from Archdale, North Carolina. She grew up on a horse farm and began singing as a small child and never stopped. After graduating from University of North Carolina at Greensboro she moved to Wilmington, NC. While she was searching for a hobby she stumbled upon guitar player Daniel McIntyre who was looking to start a band. She auditioned for the lead singer position and in the fall of 2010 40 EAST was born. Her musical influences are vast and include artists such as Alanis Morissette, Pat Benatar, Martina McBride, and Reba McIntyre. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading, and horse back riding. Her favorite color is green and her favorite band is Pink Floyd.
DANICA FLETCHER - Lead Vocals
Brad is originally from Roanoke Rapids, NC & is the founding member of Uncle Hairy.
His formal drum lessons began at age nine. Brad continues to expand his background with many different music styles. In addition to playing with Uncle Hairy, he also plays with Wilmington's #1 Party Band, The 360 Degrees (a 6 pc Classic Soul/R&B/Motown band with bandmates Travis Price & Bert Linton), The Other Guys (a 3 or 4 pc Americana band)
& Last Word (a Comtemporary Christian band w/ wife Jennifer).
Brad feels that his talent is a gift & he hopes that by sharing it with others, they too may be encouraged to seek their own personal gifts
BRAD DEAN - Drums & Vocals
Bert has been performing professionally since the age of 16. He plays a variety of instruments including drums, bass, lead/ slide guitars & keyboards. While working in the retail music industry since the age of 14, he presently the manager of Modern Music in Wilmington, NC. Bert has developed an extensive knowledge of sound reinforcement and recording production techniques. As a recording artist and producer, Bert has performed with Jon Byrd and Abandon Reason and co-produced singer-songwriter Jeff Reid's CD Roman Holiday.
BERT LINTON - Bass & Vocals
Travis has been playing guitar for over 13 years. Born & raised in Wilmington, NC, Travis has
performed in many jazz ensembles as well as help to found the Cape Fear Community College Jazz Ensemble Program. After studying at UNCW for four years, Travis graduated in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, with a focus in jazz guitar. He has since been a part of Wilmington's music scene & this has led him to branch out, taking part in teaching, studio work & even acting; playing bass guitar with Michelle Branch and The Wreckers on the television show One Tree Hill.
